A B2B parts business that needed an online store as serious as their fulfillment process. We rebuilt it on BigCommerce with customer-specific pricing, PO checkout, freight rules that match real cost, and QuickBooks Desktop kept in the loop.
Challenge
Their customers needed to log in to see their pricing, place purchase orders, and get accurate freight on heavy parts. They needed those B2B features on a platform a normal team could keep running — not a custom site that depended on one developer and constant monitoring.
What we did
- Mapped the full buying path: login-for-price, direct ordering, customer groups, and the handoff back to operations.
- Designed product-group and point-based shipping logic that handles parcel and freight without underpricing either.
- Picked platform choices the team could actually maintain after launch.
